Terms of Service

SnapAI: PDF Scanner (the "App") is provided by AHQ Labs ("we", "us"). Effective date: 28 October 2026. By installing or using the App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App. Our Privacy Policy at https://ahqlabs.com/snapai/privacy explains how we handle data and forms part of these Terms.

1. Licence

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the App on devices you own or control, for your own personal or internal business use, under these Terms and Google Play's terms. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, rent, sell or sublicense the App, or remove its notices, except where the law allows it despite this restriction. The App, its code, design and name belong to AHQ Labs and its licensors; these Terms give you a licence to use it, not ownership.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to: use the App to scan, store or share anything unlawful or that you have no right to copy; infringe others' intellectual property or privacy; try to bypass the App's limits, ads, credits or purchase checks (for example by tampering with the App or its stored data); interfere with the services the App relies on (including by automated or excessive use of text recognition or translation); or use the App in a way that harms other people or our systems.

You are responsible for the documents you create and share, and for having the right to scan them. The App asks for camera access to scan; what you scan stays on your device (see the Privacy Policy), and we take no responsibility for the content of what you scan or for links, files or websites that a scanned document leads you to.

3. Features and free credits

Scanning, editing, saving and many tools are free. Auto OCR (cloud text recognition) comes with 3 free uses (the number can change); a use is counted only after text was successfully read. You may earn an extra use by watching a rewarded ad where it is offered. Free uses are stored on your device. On-device text recognition and translation tools may have their own limits. Some features (for example Max quality, Pro filters and unlimited Auto OCR) require a paid plan.

4. Paid plans and purchases

4.1 Plans. SnapAI Pro is offered as an auto-renewing subscription (weekly, monthly or yearly) and as a one-time Lifetime purchase. Remove Ads is offered as a 7-day plan and as a one-time lifetime purchase Whether a plan renews, and its price and period, are shown on the Google Play purchase screen before you confirm.. Remove Ads turns off ads only; it does not unlock Pro features or unlimited Auto OCR. Pro also turns off ads. Prices and the billing period are shown in the App before you buy, in your local currency.

4.2 Billing. Purchases are made through Google Play and charged to your Google Play payment method. Subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current price for the same period until you cancel. Payment is charged at confirmation of purchase (or at the end of a free trial).

4.3 Cancel. You can cancel at any time in Google Play > Profile > Payments and subscriptions > Subscriptions > SnapAI. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period already paid. Uninstalling the App does not cancel a subscription.

4.4 Free trials and offers. Some plans start with a free trial or an introductory or discounted price, if the Google Play offer shows one at purchase The length of any trial is shown at purchase.. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, you are charged the regular price. A trial or discount is available once per Google account and may not be available to people who used one before.

4.5 Lifetime purchases. Lifetime means for the life of the App or for as long as we offer the feature, on the Google account that bought it, and can be restored on other devices signed in to that account with "Restore purchases". It is not transferable.

4.6 Refunds. We do not give refunds ourselves beyond what Google Play's refund policy and the law require. Request refunds from Google Play (Google's help page for refunds); where the law gives you a right of withdrawal or refund, that right is not affected.

4.7 Price and plan changes. We may change prices or plans. Google Play will notify you of subscription price changes as its rules require, and you can cancel before they take effect.

5. Third-party services

The App relies on services we do not control: Google Play (billing), RevenueCat (purchase management), Google AdMob (ads), Google Firebase (analytics, crash reports, configuration, notifications), Google Cloud Vision and Google Translate (text recognition and translation), Singular and Mixpanel (measurement), and GitHub (language model downloads). Your use of these is also governed by their terms. Text recognition and translation are provided "as is" and results may contain errors; check important text yourself. We may change or stop supporting a third-party service, and some features may then stop working.

6. Ads

The free version shows ads. Ads are provided by third parties; we are not responsible for advertisers' products or claims.

7. Your content and privacy

Your documents stay on your device (see the Privacy Policy). We do not claim ownership of your content. You are responsible for backups; if you delete the App or its data, or lose your device, documents may be lost.

8. Disclaimer

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that scans, text recognition, translations or converted files will be accurate or complete. Do not rely on the App as the only copy of an important document or for legal, medical or financial decisions.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the App in the 12 months before the claim (or US$10 if you paid nothing). Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your statutory consumer rights.

10. Termination

You can stop using the App at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms or if we stop offering the App. Sections that by their nature should continue (for example 8, 9 and 12) survive termination. Ending your access does not cancel a subscription; cancel it in Google Play.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms or the App. We will post the new Terms at the address you opened them from with a new effective date; if you keep using the App after that, you accept the update. If you do not agree, stop using the App.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes go to the courts of Lahore, Pakistan, except where mandatory consumer law gives you the right to use your local courts.
